About the atlas
Is this medical advice?
No. BioBody OS is an educational physiology atlas. It cannot diagnose you, interpret a personal test result, or recommend treatment. Discuss individual health and medication questions with a qualified clinician.
What do the arrows and confidence labels mean?
Arrows show the usual direction of change in the selected context. “High confidence” means the direction is well established in the educational evidence review; it is not a diagnosis or a formal clinical evidence grade.
Can I use the Scenario lab to plan a meal or medication dose?
No. Its outputs are qualitative teaching aids. They do not calculate personal glucose response, drug levels, interactions, adherence, titration, or clinical risk.
Why do sources sometimes disagree?
Different studies can examine different populations, outcomes, durations, and comparisons. The atlas tries to label nuance and link sources so you can inspect the evidence yourself.
Accounts and reports
Do I need an account to use the atlas?
No. An account is only needed to submit a community issue report.
What can I report?
You can report a factual correction, evidence concern, broken link, accessibility problem, security issue, or other site problem using the Report an issue tool.
Can I report anonymously?
Yes. You must sign in to submit a report, but can choose “Anonymous” so no optional profile fields are shown with it.
Privacy and safety
What information is collected?
Accounts store email and authentication information. Optional profile fields, issue reports, references, attachments, and an essential sign-in cookie are stored when you provide them. See the Privacy policy for details.
Where should I report a security issue?
Use the issue-report tool for non-sensitive concerns. For a potential vulnerability, contact the project through its published private contact channel and avoid accessing data or disrupting the service.
